Hi everyone! I'm finally posting. I don't know where the month of August went! Now we are well into September! I'm so excited to be a member of the Dozen Quilters. This should be a great journey.

So a little about me...I'm married to a great guy, we've been together for about thirty years, married for about twenty-four of them. I'm a mother of one, a son who is 18 and a senior in high school. I'm teacher who believes strongly in public education. Currently I'm a 7th grade special education (inclusion) teacher. I'm working towards my Masters, with only four more classes to go!!

I've been quilting for about 30 years off and on. I like appliqueing, piecing and recently I've gotten to machine quilting. I like to craft and have tried many different types, stain glass, and painting to name a couple. Quilting is my all time favorite though. I like to read, and enjoy watching sports. My son is a soccer player and we spent many years traveling around for his games. We have two dogs. The one in the picture is a new puppy. We got him about three weeks a go right before I went back to work. Needless to say I've spending quite a bit of time on housebreaking.!

I live in Massachusetts, the western part of the state, in a little town called Palmer.
