Do you like mail? Be watching your mailbox for a little gift from me. Don't worry if you don't like it. It won't hurt my feelings. Just throw it away! PLUS, the address list is coming too.

I hope everyone had a lovely Labor Day weekend.

Bless you!

Melissa

Sweet Melissa, Are you kidding??? I love anything that is a gift! It will be nice to have everyones address also.

We did have a wonderful weekend. Our oldest son and his boys showed up at our house in the morning and made us breakfast. Then slowly all the other boys and their families showed up. It was very nice.

I am leaving for Colorado with Phil and the girls on Thurs. We will be gone for 6-7 days. I am taking my sewing machine. Oh my, I can't wait. We will be up in a little cabin in the woods. I plan on designing some new patterns for Peace Creek. It will be so nice! I will probably miss your mail. Sad. I will be checking my email though while I am gone. Thank you for all you are doing for our little quilt group!!!!
Blessings, Linda

I love mail! Especially if it isn't a bill. Love it!
I was recovering from being sick and still getting my energy level back up all weekend and my youngest ran a temp most of the weekend. So all our plans were canceled. And hubs is still in Louisianna on business, so it was just the three of us.
I sewed on H's birthday present and made a purse for my new shop. www.zibbet.com/simplymemorable
I need to go get it on there. Love the teal and red color combo.

What a sweetheart you are, Melissa!!

Isn't it amazing how, given all the technology and gadgets we have at our disposal to communicate with one another, everyone still gets excited about receiving mail? I'll be eagerly watching for mine!

Melissa,

Thanks for the mail:) I love it:)You are so sweet to think of us:)

We just got back this afternoon from our vacation to FL. The kids had a blast, we had a lot of fun at the beach. My friend and I are putting together another quilt together so we had lots of late night sewing together:) She picked out a fabric by Moda called Fabulous Fall. We also made foot print blocks of everyone in our families and are putting together a memory quilt of our wonderful days together:)

Blessings,
Gayly

Hello Melissa,

Thank you so much for the scrapalicious surprise in my mailbox today! What a wonderful treat!

Would it be possible for us all to get an email notificiation when a comment is left on the blog so that we can all better keep track of our goings on?

thanks again so much.

Jenny

I've been wondering the same thing, Jenny. So I looked into it, and ten people can receive the contents. There are twelve of us. So I put myself as the comment moderator, which means comments won't show up until I okay them. Kind of a pain. That makes eleven. I left off my sister Christy. Sorry Christy. If anyone has any idea how to add her so she can also receive comments and maybe even me so I don't have to moderate them, I would really appreciate it. Everyone else, enjoy getting the comments on e-mail!

Wow, everyone has been so busy on here! :) Work has been busy for us (Christy & I work together), so I'm really looking forward to a fun distraction! I don't really have a stock pile of scraps since I'm more of a general crafter than sewer, but I really loved the fabrics you sent Melissa! I will tuck them away until the perfect project comes up.

And I also *love* getting mail. It's just so much fun!

Truly, everyone, I didn't have a specific person in mind for each package. I did pray that they would get to the right person. It seems like they did for the most part. Iva got her butterflies and Carmen got her pink and brown. I swear I didn't think about this at te time. But I'm so glad they worked out!
