What happens......

if I've lost my May block?

Oh my gosh....I'm so in trouble.

I finally got last month's block in the mail today, I'm so super sorry!

I blogged about it on my blog, I had some pretty serious heart issues in April and half of May.

I'm all better now and ready to get back on track.

Now, I just have to find that darn May block. I will..........

Can someone tell me what this came in? Was it a manilla envelope or white or what?

Hello, don't panic. It came in a white envelope the size 5 3/4" x 8 3/4" envelope. DO NOT PANIC.

I love quilting. Linda Stubbs at Prairie Flower Farm mentioned this awhile back, so I thought I'd check it out. I love the idea.

I"m making a Granmother's Flower Garden type quilt out of flannel pieces..the only thing that resembles the pattern is the hexagon piece and that's it..I'm totally going rogue on this project.

I'm also sewing it by hand..which is taking FOREVER, but that's okay :) :) :) I figure if the pioneer women of our country could do it and make fabulous quilts, so can I :) :) :)

Thanks for letting me post to your blog :) :) Greetings from Oregon

I am apologizing too...My month of May has been so insane that I don't even remember my own name half the time. Thank God I have managed to keep track of my girls so far. We move to KC on Saturday...two months earlier than planned and to a city we didn't plan on. I knew where my stuff was yesterday, but havent been able to work on it yet...have a few minutes I could be working on it today, but we packed up the sewing room yesterday, and I no longer know what box its in. And the fact that the sewing room is packed makes my heart hurt a little. I will get to it as soon as I can, but it will be late. Sorry. Please keep us in your prayers tomorrow...My 7 yr old has oral surgery tomorrow (to get her mouth healthy again, Lord willing, and hopefully give us some months without strep...she has had it four times in the four months we have lived in the apt) and she is being put to sleep long enough for them to pull four teeth, fill three, and clean the rest of her mouth.
Looking forward to getting this weekend done and starting our new life. Love you guys! Becky

also, my quilt you guys so lovingly made squares for is sandwhiched and pinned, patiently waiting for it's turn to be hand-quilted. It is gorgeous! Can't wait to put it on my bed at the new house!
