Ladies, here's a question - I just finished this quilt with Life's a Hoot from Adornit. I stitched a row of mini pompoms in lime green around the inside of the first border ( fine green line in the pic), using a zipper foot, which was a REAL pain. The foot kept stretching the trim, causing some puckering. I'm wondering, short of hand stitching the whole thing, what's a better way? Is there a foot for pompoms?

Hi Patty. I have sewn pompoms on skirts and such before and they are a pain. I think the last time I used a lot of pins to hold them more in place (I know, they still stretch) and just used my regular foot, but lifted it each time I got to a pompom. I MAY have used the zipper foot? I'm certainly open to suggestions. And YAY! for Fine Lines fabric. Sue's Ellie's Emporium quilt was front and center in the Quilt magazine booth at market and was their advertisement background.
I might try calling your dealer that you bought your machine from if you have a good relationship with him/her. They might know if your machine has the "perfect foot for that."
