March is just around the corner...

Hi Ladies,

As I sit down to do my wonky log cabin...I am wondering if you all have Kona cottons in your stash?  My month, March, I will be asking for all solids (no loud groans please...I know everyone is having such fun with Iva's gorgeous color preferences and fabric inspirations!!)

I don't want to send anyone shopping for my block...I would be glad to send out some fabrics if need be.  The background color is to be Kona Snow...but more on that later...

I'm getting excited...you are all going to help me make a quilt for my son's bedroom!!

Thanks!

Kona Cottons have been on my mind lately, I've a pattern I want to make, but alas I have very few (sigh) so it's off to the LQS for me. Do you have any color preferences?

No Kona here. Send fabrics? and sabotage my excuse to go to the quilt store? I think not :D Can't wait to find out what block and colors you've chosen.

(sorry about the delete... you would think I could spell by this stage in my life;)

Hi Jenny,
SADLY we have NO LQS! Can you believe that? However, I love any excuse to shop late night in my jammies so just let me know what colors you're wanting so I can do a little web surfing!

PS. Fabric.com is having a 30% off sale and has 3 pages of Kona so I'm pretty sure I'll be able to find something lol

Hey Carmen... I will gladly send you some fabrics, but I know it doesn't take much to send me to the computer to shop for some either! The only color I 'require' is Kona Snow...for the background of the block...the rest is up to you really...any color under the sun! The blocks will be for my son's bedroom quilt, but I am open to absolutely any color. you can use more than one color in the block too...stars, shooflys and flying geese blocks...fabric.com is such a fun place to shop!

I don't have any Kona either. Wouldn't even know what you were talking about if I hadn't read so many quilting blogs. If you want, you can send me some...but my address has changed. It may be easier for me to just hunt some down.
