Marie, here is your disappearing 9-patch with some Aunt Grace prints. I have really been enjoying looking at this block for the past couple of days; it has such a sweet vintage feel to it. But now I suppose I will reluctantly happily put it in the mail to you :D. I do hope when you see the real thing you like it, too.
It feels so good to be caught up and eagerly anticipating the July block! My apologies to those who received a late block from me:
Linda, your Grandmother’s Flower Garden block will also be going in the mail today. I love GFG quilts and have always wanted to attempt one. But now with this, my very first handpiecing attempt, I’m not so sure I could ever do it justice. Please excuse my rudimentary handwork.
Although Kim and Jenny already have their blocks, I never did get pictures posted. Because I’m still trying to figure out how to use the photo editing software that came with my new camera, I have had to give up and download pictures into my original software to get the ones that I want for now.
Jenny’s Flying Geese:
Kim’s Unnamed Star (I’ve had such a time trying to get the colors to show better, but…):
Other than work and my youngest child moving away (I have to tell ya, I am not cut out to be an empty-nester ): here is what has consumed my time for the past few months:
My beautiful daughter’s wedding dress (and wedding). She makes it look so much more gorgeous.
Blessings to all you Dozen Quilters ladies!

And did you actually sew your daughter's wedding dress?! It is gorgeous & she made a stunning bride in it! Congratulations! <3
Thank you for the block!I love it and received it today!
Your daughter is soooooo beautiful. Weddings are lots of work, but so fun to see it all come together. Very pretty girl!
Kim, I did make my daughter's dress. It took two purchased patterns and some additional tweaking to get it to look like one she found in a magazine. With her in Okla. and me in Kansas, it was quite a challenge!!!
Iva- I got your block today and it is beautiful!! Thanks for the extra fabric too!!
