Look What Christy Made!

Chirsty doesn't have a blog, so please just humor me. Christy made the Birdie purse from Amy Butler's pattern. That black and white fabric says stuff like, "If the house is clean, the sewing machine must be in the shop." and "I told him it would be unwise to make me choose between him and my fabrics . . . I will miss him though." and "Dating? I'd rather be sewing." So cute!

Christy, if you need help we can make a blog for you. Let us know. It doesn't cost anything. If you told us what color or style I could try. Just a thought.
Love the purse. We are making same pattern for Tressa.
Blessings, Linda

I can't believe you posted this pic! It did turn out good though. I am proud of it. I haven't made a bag in a long time and it was my 1st time sewing gussets.

OK everyone. I need some prayer and thought this might be the best way to get ahold of all of you and not make too big of a deal out of it. We built our house six years ago and finished it six months ago. Did pretty much everything ourselves. Then our town went and built the new sewer right next to our property. It stinks (in more ways than one.) So we met with a contractor about a month ago and talked about building (again) which I can hardly handle thinking about. Tonight he got back to us and it was much more affordable than we thought. Plus, it would be the same house again but we wouldn't have to do it. Except I would paint because I'm sort of a perfectionist about that. And I like to. Todd REALLY wants to move. But he wants to make sure it's the right thing for us too. We are praying about it, but can you too? Pray for God's will in our lives and for wisdom for us. It might be the right time to sell as things are really moving in our town. On the other hand, it might not. And leaving something that has your blood, sweat and tears in it is so hard.

First off all, Christy the bag is very cute.
My computer has been having a few problems and I taking it in tonight so I'll be down for a while. So if you don't hear form me that's the reason.
Lastly, You are all in my prayers, so I'm sure Missy you and Todd will make the best decision for you.
